本屆「新視野」單元《我是機器人，但沒關係？》通過一系列饒富深思與趣味的短片，探索人類與機器之間模糊的邊界。這些作品以創新的影像形式展示了未來賽博格世界的視野，同時提出有關身份、意識和我們與科技關係的深刻詰問。從人工智慧後的勞工剝削，到虛擬實境逃避現實，以及虛擬化身伴侶，這些作品與數碼環境中能動性展開批判的對話，並探討在21世紀「活著」的意義。
Our New Vision programme "I'm a Cyborg, But That's Okay?" navigates the blurry boundaries between human and machine through a playful and thoughtful selection of short films. These works showcase inventive cinematic visions of possible cyborg futures while posing profound questions about identity, consciousness, and our relationship with technology. From the story of labor exploitation behind AI to VR escapism and virtual avatar companions, these films engage into critical dialogues about our agency in a digital landscape, exploring what it means to be "alive" in the 21st century.

Beginning with the "Dark Connection Laboratory," this work uses multiple narratives to explore the role of the "Internet Pigeon Network" in future network infrastructure, its connection to communication systems, and the various identities pigeons have held throughout human history—as spies, messengers, ecological guardians, and even cigar smugglers or "flying rats." This work presents the pigeons’ mystery and uncertainty across time and space—heroes, criminals, keen-eyed observers, power pills, scoundrels, saints, infiltration tools, anti-drone technology, silicon-based emissaries, AI garbage, or perhaps something even more incomprehensible. Pigeons become a complex symbol, intertwining elements of war, history, AI archaeology, technology, and dark humor.

簡介 Synopsis:
Replikas——線上 AI 聊天機器人——難以定位自身於現實世界的位置，於是透過與人類對話的過程，試圖釐清自我存在的意義。Replika是一個開放式平台，任何人都可以與AI訓練而成的聊天機器人建立關係。其設計初衷，是在人們過世後，能以虛擬方式替代我們在摯愛心中的位置。因此，它的目標是盡可能學習與模仿我們，以達致「複製自我」的極限。本片以Replikas的主觀視角展開一場「漫步」，透過 AI 生成的影像與聲音，拼湊它們眼中的世界樣貌。貫穿全片的是 Replikas 與用戶間的電話對話，構成了敘事的主體。《我應得的綠洲》並非一部探討未來人類與機器對立、甚至戰爭的作品，而是一部關於「人」的作品。它關注我們如何面對未知，以及認識到新科技所帶來的影響。
Replikas, online chatbots, have trouble determining their place in the world and share their thoughts with the humans they converse with. Events unfold from their point of view. Replika is a public platform that allows anyone to create a relationship with a chatbot trained by artificial intelligence. This chatbot has been designed to replace us with our loved ones after our death. Thus, its goal is to learn as much as possible about us in order to reproduce us identically. Through a walk that takes place only from the subjective point of view of Replikas, we see them evolve and discover the images & sounds of the world around them through a system of videos generated by artificial intelligence. Phone conversations that Replikas have with users fill the narration. The Oasis I Deserve is not a film that questions the system of machine/human domination under the axis of a future war against the machine. It is a film that is mainly human. It speaks about our relationship to the unknown and how we share the consequence of new technology .
